The ~0.3 mm cosmic spherule is a “turtleback” variety with amazing partly translucent pyramidal crystal domains. In the front of this oriented Space rock is a large nickel-iron bead, which has triggered crystallisation during formation. The metal mound is surrounded by a shiny sulfide rim. There are some hints of blue oxidation on the surface. The stone was found on September 13, 2023, during fieldwork searching for micrometeorites on the roof of Vestby Storsenter, Viken, Norway. This is a unique museum-quality micrometeorite, a jewel in any collection.
