Fifteen selected micrometeorites (from 0.2 to 0.6 millimetres) from Jon Larsen’s collection, mounted on a signed microslide, marked “Collection 3/2020”. The stones are of different types and in perfect condition, fresh from Space. This relatively large collection is unique and contains several rare types and phenomena.

    1. NMM 2258
    A “giant” (~0.6 millimetres) porphyritic olivine (PO) type micrometeorite with a nickel bead in the front, found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker (CC Vest), Oslo, Norway.

    2. NMM 2259
    A medium sized (~0.2 millimetres) cryptocrystalline (CC) type, a “turtleback” variety, found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    3. NMM 2262
    A large (~0.3 millimetres) cryptocxrystalline (CC) type micrometeorite with a large nickel bead + sulfide rim, found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    4. NMM 2264
    A ~0.25 millimetres cryptocrystalline (CC) type with a conical crystallization and a nickel bead in the friont. Found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    5. NMM 2265
    A large (~0.3 mm) porphyritic olivine (PO) type with very large magnetite “Christmas tree” crystals. Found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    6. NMM 2266
    A translucent (~0.2 millimetres) glass (V-type) micrometeorite with a nickel bead surrounded by a sulfide rim. Found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    7. NMM 2269
    A ~0.25 mm dark glass (V-type) micrometeorite with a large nickel bead in the front. Found 2020 0415 on a roof at Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

    8. NMM 2296
    A ~0.25 mm black cryptocrystalline (CC) type micrometeorite, a symmetrical “turtleback” variety. Found 2020 0421 on a roof at Buskerud Storsenter, Norway.

    9. NMM 2298
    A large (~0.3 mm) scoriaceous/porphyritic olivine (PO/ScMM) micrometeorite with a large central void. Found 2020 0421 on a roof at Buskerud Storsenter, Norway.

    10. NMM 2299
    A ~0.25 millimetres porphyritic olivine (PO) with rare nickel oxide rosettes. Found 2020 0421 on a roof at Buskerud Storsenter, Norway.

    11. NMM 2300
    A large (0.3 mm) porphyritic olivine (PO) micrometeorite with unusual equant magnetite xls and a vesicle. Found 2020 0421 on a roof at Buskerud, Norway.

    12. NMM 2340
    A rare scoriaceous/porphyritic olivine (ScMM/PO) micrometeorite with large forsterite xls around the open versicles. Found 2020 0611 at Skedsmo, Viken, Norway.

    13. NMM 2480
    A very large (0.5 mm) aerodynamic barred olivine (BO) type with large magnetite “Christmas tree” xls. Found 20200625 in Trondheim, Trøndelag, Norway.

    14. NMM 2529
    A ~0.25 mm barred olivine (BO) micrometeorite with two unweathered nickel beads. Found 2020 0717 at Vestby Storsenter, Viken, Norway.

    15. NMM 2532
    A large (~0.35 mm) polysomatic barred olivine (BO) type with large magnetite “Christmas tree” crystals on the surface. Found 2020 0717 at Vestby, Viken, Norway.

    All fifteen stones are a part of the collection found during the sixth season of micrometeorite findings/verification in populated areas (2020). The catalogue number refers to the NMM archive (the main index of Norwegian Micro Meteorites, Jon Larsen’s urban Project Stardust collection), and the stones were found and curated by Jon Larsen.

    VERIFICATION:
    The MMs has been confirmed extraterrestrial by SEM/EDS and visual identification by Jon Larsen, and is a verified micrometeorite, hereby confirmed in writing. The stones are sold with a Certificate of Authenticity incl. classification, two digital color photos and twenty-one SEM images.
