NMM 2025 - a real beauty with a triangular, crystalline chromite area with a distinctive surface texture.
NMM 2025 - Alf Bjerckes vei
NMM 2025 Alf Bjerckes vei is an olive-green porphyritic (PO) type featuring beautiful olivine (forsterite) crystals embedded in glass, with magnetite “Christmas tree” crystals scattered throughout. The most striking feature, however, is a triangular, crystalline chromite area with a distinctive surface texture, covering roughly one-third of its diameter. In addition to its visual appeal, the stone has been analysed for a publication on chromite anomalies in micrometeorites, thereby increasing its scientific significance. A historic opportunity to acquire.
