NMM 2045 Alf Bjerckes vei - a gorgeous twin spirit shiny cryptocrystalline.
NMM 2045 - Alf Bjerckes vei
NMM 2045 Alf Bjerckes vei, Twin spirits, is a shiny, cryptocrystalline (CC) type with two large nickel-iron beads at the front, caused by spin during atmospheric entry. It is almost like two aerodynamic micrometeorites in one. Closer to the metal beads, the elongated matrix is lighter, drained of iron. This iconic stone (~300µm) is recognised by micrometeorite collectors worldwide from the full-page photograph in the Atlas of Micrometeorites (page 68). A historic opportunity to acquire.
