Micrometeorite 2581_2 is a beautiful elongated cryptocrystalline (CC) type with a large shiny nickel-iron metal bead in the front, and an interesting secondary bead at the rear end.
NMM 2581_2 - Vestby
This micrometeorite had spin perpendicular to the direction of movement during atmospheric entry in hyperspeed.
The colour is deep brown, due to traces of iron (Fe3+), and paler towards the front metal bead. A fantastic stone, better in person than in the photo, by Jan Braly Kihle and me.
