NMM 2747 - Nordkisa
NMM 2747 Nordkisa is a barred olivine (BO) micrometeorite with distinctive aerodynamic features. At more than 600µm, this specimen is notably large for any collection—a giant micrometeorite. It is complete all around and properly oriented; the front is at the top in the photograph. The texture of the striped olivine (forsterite) crystals is stunning, and large magnetite “Christmas tree” crystals are sprinkled all over—true beauty!
