Beautiful aerodynamic CC-type with unusual metal beads.
The micrometeorite [NMM 2786] is a beautiful elongated cryptocrystalline micrometeorite with amazing aerodynamic properties. It has a large nickel-iron bead in the fron and amazing “speed lines” backwards. At the tail is a smaller secondary nickel bead, note the difference between the slightly oxided metal bead in the front, and the completely intact secondary bead at the tail. This phenomenon has hardly been documented better in any photo before.
The stone was found October 19, 2020, at Rosenvilde, Bærum, Viken, Norway.
