NMM 913 Capralhaugen is a large barred olivine type with a distinctive triangular symmetry
NMM 913 - Capralhaugen
NMM 913 Capralhaugen is a large (~350µm) barred olivine (BO) type with a distinctive triangular symmetry. Each of the three main crystal domains features magnetite crystals at the apex, which has triggered crystallisation. Between them lies a beautiful, star-shaped fourth crystal domain composed of olivine (forsterite) with small magnetite “Christmas tree” crystals scattered throughout. The stone is pristine and shiny, fresh from space. A historic opportunity to acquire.
